what is a bukbord?

Peter Read is the founder and inventor of the bukbord. The idea for the game came to him while living beneath a buckeye tree. He would often pick up fallen buckeyes and toss them into a hole in his table—until one day, he realized just how entertaining the activity was. Inspired by this simple pastime, Pete created the first bukbord in 2012 and has been handmaking each one ever since.

how to play

Red tee goes first and tumbles 3 buks down the bord
Use the red tee to record total points after all 3 buks have been tumbled
Blue tee then tumbles the same 3 buks
Blue tee records their score using the blue tee to complete the inning
First player with 11 or more points by the end of an inning wins
See the diagram below to determine how buks on the line are judged
